A Template of Hope

At a meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis in September 2014, HRH condemned violence in the name of religion and discussed a template for hope. The template of hope presents five action items for the world community. 

His Holiness Pope Francis was emphatic that the need for such a template is urgent in today's testing times, where religious spaces were being used not as venues for dialogue, but rather as areas for division. His Holiness especially concurred with the item below: 

“As the nations of the world come together to finalize the post-2015 development agenda, the moral lobby of faith that is still strong across the world must act in cohesion to ensure that human dignity is at the forefront of all development efforts. ...”
